Zero to landfill 

As an environmental business Aura is proud to adopt the zero to landfill policy. We work tirelessly with businesses to find the best hope possible for any waste produced, to ensure our planet avoids harm and often benefits from the disposal. 

In 2021 DEFRA predicted only 45% of the UK's household waste was reused or recycled. At this time 80% of the waste could be recycled. 

DEFRA has a target to reach 65% by 2035 and we don’t think that’s good enough. 

As a waste partner we work with businesses to first find the best route for their waste and if necessary, look at what changes the business can make to eliminate anything that cannot be recycled.
